FAQ
About Color Balancing
Color balance is subjective for many reasons. Beyond the obvious fact that everyone perceives color differently, there is a huge difference between reflected light (what your eyes see in front of you) and projected light (what your eyes see on a computer screen). I learned about this the hard way when painting cars and it warrants some explanation.
I take great pains to color balance all photos to my eye. On my monitor and to my perception, these photos are as close as I can make them. Is this a guarantee that it is going to present itself exactly the same way to you when it arrives on your doorstep?
Unfortunately, no. The best way to be certain of a color's appearance remains the old fashioned way: get a sample and look at it yourself.
But in lieu of that, I like to think I go a bit further than most when it comes to ensuring the color is presented as accurately as it can be.
How accurate is your splitting?
Can I have the splits from my order?
I'd love to offer this, but it's too cumbersome to retrieve specific splits from the waste chute of the splitter.
I do sell bundles of splits.
I have some leather, can you split it for me?
Yes. See details here.
