Things to note:

• I charge by time: $60/hr, with a minimum half hour. A well prepared shipment of leather can be split, packaged and on its way back to you in half an hour to an hour max.

• The more prepared you are, the less time it takes me to process your splitting request. Please do not expect me to sort through your leather for you: you will pay me to do this.

• 8-9" is the maximum width I am comfortable running through the machine. If you do not pre-process your leather, you leave me authority to do so at my own discretion.

• The best way to achieve the closest desired split is to process the hides into individual panels for the object you're constructing, but in lieu of that a square foot or two at a time will work.

• I cannot split leather that is over 2.5mm thick.

• My machine works best with softer leathers; anything stiffer than bridle or Buttero, for example, will cause fits and make things difficult.

• I accept no liability for leather lost or damaged by the splitting process, and sending me your leather is indication of your agreement to this.

• You pay shipping both ways.
